This course aims at giving the appropriate instruments to those who have to evaluate, advise and take crucial decisions about the strategic and organizational aspects of fundraising. We are talking about members of the board of directors of nonprofit organizations, fundraising managers or professionals and consultants who collaborate with the nonprofit sector.
Contents of the course
Manage and guide a nonprofit organization and make the right choices for its development demands a wide range of competences.
The fundraising represents today a strategically fundamental function for all organizations, but it is not always easy to foresee results and decide to invest precious resources for its start and improvement.
This is why the course in Management and Decision Marketing for Fundraising wants to transmit the fundamental instruments to evaluate the efficiency of a fundraising action, manage it from a strategic point of view and calculate correctly its results.

Fundraising principles and techniques – Methodological basis - Teacher: Prof. Valerio Melandri
History, development and future perspectives of fundraising. General view of fundraising. The course introduces students to terminology, notions and main instruments in order to clarify their logic and aims in relation to the decision making.
Decision Making for Fundraising – Operative tools and cases - Teacher: Mr. Paolo Celli
Take decisions for fundraising through the understanding and the correct management of key elements as context, strategic objectives, stakeholders and the history of the organization.

Nonprofit and fundraising managers, who want to develop the fundamental competences to manage effectively the fundraising programme of their organization, with a long-term development goal.
Professionals and consultants who cooperate with nonprofit organizations, lawyers, accountants, notaries who want to know more in depth the logics of fundraising to cooperate more effectively with the nonprofit sector.
Projects evaluation managers of Grant-making Foundations and local authorities, who want to deepen their competences in order to evaluate the fundraising programmes and the sustainability of projects to fund.
