What students and former students tell about us:
Chantal M., fundraiser, VI edition Dear Prof, I’m sure you’ll be happy to know that today I begin my internship period. I would like to be less enthusiastic to be down to earth, but I’m not able to do it. To have the opportunity to “touch” with your hands is wonderful. If before the Master I was curious towards this sector, now there’s something more, there’s all the desire to apply what I’ve learnt and to learn more and more.
Laura Z., fundraiser, VI edition: Dear Professor, this was a very important year for me from the training as well as human point of view. I’m happy to have met many interesting and nice colleagues and I’m happy to have known you. Thank you to have given me this opportunity and to have put your trust in me.
Matteo Ossani, fundraiser, VI edition: “[...]I thank you for the Master, the quality of lessons and teachers, all this year spent in learning fundraising…”
Giusy Battain, fundraiser of A,B,C Burlo, VI edition: “Fundraising gives you the opportunity to good, the Master teaches the theory and technique, the application of practice and intuitions. This let us to become real professionals”
Laura Zampieri, student VI edition: “The Master was for me an important training experience which allowed me to acquire knowledge and competences in a sector that I didn’t know even though I felt it very close. Now that this year is finishing I wonder what the Master represents for me according to what I’ve learnt till now: it’s no doubt an art that allows you, if cultivated, to achieve important goals and realize small or big projects always ambitious. But this is also an art which let you open your heart to the world, capture the good and understand how much everyone can do to realize big things and improve the life of those who fight everyday to survive. The Master has contributed to understand all this, so it was a precious way for me to grow from a personal and professional point of view, a great opportunity”
Jacopo Brian Gazzola, fundraiser at the Telefono Azzurro, V edition: “The Master in Fundraising of Forlì is today the only didactic instrument very complete and useful for the market of work. I think this is a necessary step in order to know very well this profession!”
Francesco Occhipinti, accountant, free lance, V edition: “I can repeat and reconfirm this by underlining the professional competence of the Director (Prof. Valerio Melandri) and of his staff of teachers, as well as the very good organization of your administrative office. I have participated in the Master with great financial, work, family, etc. sacrifices for two reasons:
- not to find a job, as I’ve already a good job, but to acquire competences in the nonprofit sector, as well as in the public and private sector
- to integrate my (already rich) curriculum in order to access to public managerial jobs.
I have sincerely expressed my absolute satisfaction for the Master hoping that the University of Bologna engages to find good work opportunities for those who attended the Master (as you made on January 17, 2008).”
Paolo Celli, fundraising, consultant, III edition: “I’m a businessman, I have always worked within my family company. Some years ago I have started to be interested in nonprofit and I was involved in some solidarity projects which moved me very much. I have met Prof. Melandri and I’ve thought that this Master could be a unique opportunity to deepen these themes. The Master revealed to be a very interesting experience: above all I was impressed by the level of teachers, the interest of subjects, but also the positive atmosphere among students as well as their participation and involvement. Generally the level of satisfaction I have noticed among other students was very high and I know there are interesting career developments in progress”.
Elisabetta Montesi, fundraiser at the Local Health Unit of Cesena, III edition: “Attending the Master was a very interesting and amusing experience, because as I worked I had the opportunity to apply immediately what I learnt, even though it was very demanding. I can say I’m satisfied and I recommend to attend this course to everyone who wants to put themselves to the test.” Annibale Morsillo, consultant of social budget for the University of Foggia, III edition: “The experience of the Master was very important from the relational point of view: I was able to create a series of relations which will be no doubt very important for the future professional activity.”
Federica de Benedittis, fundraiser for AISM and Medici senza Frontiere, III edition: “The Master has given me a series of technical competences I’m applying in my work together with a dose of passion and ability to create relations.”
Luca Palmas, fundraiser for the Aias Cagliari, III edition: “The Master has left me three things: I have learnt to consider the difficulties not as something to be afraid of, but as something to overcome, I have learnt to make things seriously without taking myself too seriously and above all I’ve learnt that the most important knowledge is what we have in our minds, not on the agenda.”
Marco Panzetti, fundraiser for the Association Comunità Papa Giovanni XXXIII, III edition: “I have arrived at this Master because the association needed to structure better the FR activity and it was a very important experience because it has made me acquire some instruments you can’t obtain otherwise. Even though there is the opportunity to improve, you can have very important ideas from this Master, so I hope this reality will grow more and more.”
Paola Raggi, employee at CISE, Social Responsibility Company, III edition: “I registered at the Master because I worked in a bank and I didn’t agree with the philosophy of profit. I thought economy could be aimed at something good. The Master gave me many satisfactions from a didactic point of view and has allowed me to increase very much my competences.”
